Our client is a well-funded tech startup that aims to be the largest online marketplace in Asia - providing the fastest market-to-doorstep delivery service with the widest selections of products and services. This role is ideal for an innovative and highly energetic HR leader who is ready to lead the people agenda in a hyper-growth business of 300 employees across 7 markets.
As the first leadership hire in the ‘People’ space, you will play a crucial role in partnering with the founder and leadership team to drive the HR vision, values, and strategy. This role will report to the CEO.
What you will do:
Develop and deliver a comprehensive Human Resources strategy that integrates and closely aligns with the business strategy.
Build and maintain strong relationships with other leaders. Work collaboratively across departments and teams to identify and solve problems and achieve organizational goals.
Lead talent acquisition efforts including sourcing, screening, and selecting quality hires through the various recruitment channels and external agency partners.
Design and deliver HR processes and programs including performance management, employee compensation & benefits, career development and other processes.
Be a visible, involved and engaged leader to employees throughout the organization.
Coach people at all levels of the organization and support them in realizing their maximum potential.
Ensure that all HR policies and programs are compliant with the regulatory requirements in each jurisdiction. Address any non-compliance matters on a timely and effective basis.
Provide expertise and oversight in the following areas: employee on-boarding, off-boarding, and engagement; career development, performance management, coaching, compensation and rewards, employee relations, learning and development, and company compliance.
You should have:
High levels of energy and resilience to thrive in a startup environment
Proven capabilities as a manager and great developer of talent. Ideally with 8+ years of progressive HR generalist experience, including 3+ years in a management role
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with all levels of employees
Exceptional communication, partnering and conflict management skills
Solid organizational, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
Degree in Business or Human Resources, or equivalent
