Head of Marketing - eCommerce


Responsibilities:

  • Build brand value through effective marketing strategy and results focused campaigns
  • Drive business growth in collaboration with telesales team, digital team, product development and senior leadership
  • Responsible for sales & marketing KPIs across both online and offline channels including e-commerce website and social platforms
  • Own customer understanding and market insights, and focus on customer acquisition and retention through strategic and targeted initiatives
  • Manage performance of all agency (creative, media, digital and PR) and vendor relationships actively to ensure all outputs are delivered on budget, on time and are of the highest quality
  • Lead a team of 2-3 marketing/digital executives to develop integrated marketing plan and implement marketing deliverables
  • Accountable for marketing budget and ROI improvement through continuous test and learn approach, and output optimization with given resources
  • Guardian of the brand both internally and externally
  • Develop brand positioning and continuous improvement of brand affinity and awareness metrics

 

 

Success criteria:      

  • Achievement of annual business plans as measured by new business sales and customer retention
  • Achievement of annual brand affinity KPI’s and website conversion funnel targets

Candidate requirements:

  • A highly accountable marketer with proven track record in marketing management (both creative and commercial) and accountability to business outcomes – who takes ownership, great pleasure and personal pride in creating impactful campaigns and improving business performance
  • Experience of developing successful cross-channel integrated marketing campaigns and engaging with creative and media agencies to deliver outstanding work
  • A brand-builder who understands how brand building and customer acquisition marketing work together, also being customer focused and dedicated to deliver effective campaigns from strategy, tactics to execution to influence customer behavior
  • Desire to make a difference with hands on management style and ability to perform in a small and dynamic business with a growth mindset and out of the box thinking
  • Strong business acumen and well versed in commercial reporting. Excellent analytical skills, adept at interpreting data, spotting trends and using to inform strategy
  • Excellent communication skills, excellent ability to prioritize and manage to deadlines
  • An inspiring marketing leader and an excellent team player: self-driven, motivating, collaborative and adept at building relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Minimum five-years experience in managing and leading marketing teams.
