Head of Marketing Lead (ID) - Online Travel Startup

Founded in 2015, our client is a venture-backed medtech startup in San Francisco. They have recently started their Asia operations in Singapore and looking for dynamic individuals to join their team.

They are looking for a Content Marketing Lead to join either the San Francisco or the Singapore office, preferably someone who has worked with Asia markets. 

Who You Are 

The Content Marketing Lead is a passionate, self-starter who would be excited to help us shape how people perceive the company and what to expect of us. It is a challenging task to engage people in health, and and specifically in cognition. You understand how to create material that brings about emotional resonance and credibility in Asia. What you write will get people to be motivated to learn more and do more about their brain health.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop content including, but not limited to, the website, blog posts, social media, email campaigns, white papers, infographics, videos and slide deck presentations 

  • Write articles and blog for our website and other online sources to advance the company’s thought leadership 

  • Create white papers to educate corporate customers and end consumers on health topics 

  • Transform complex information from academic literature into language understood by laypeople 

  • Design visually appealing marketing collateral to engage audience interest. This includes both business/corporate and consumer audiences 

  • Support sales and customer success teams by creating content, both visual and written, to facilitate the sales process and/or improve customer experience 

  • Liaise with the Product team and the translation company to finalize the product into Asian languages

Key Requirements 

  • Experience with Asia consumers. Fluency in Simplified Chinese and Japanese a big plus 

  •  2-3 years of marketing and content creation experience in Asia 

  • Exceptional writing, designing, and editing skills 

  • Passionate about writing and strong understanding of how to adapt your writing style to suit the audience 

  • Excellent organizational skills to work independently 

  • Adept at managing projects with many moving parts 

  • The ability to multitask and wear many hats in a fast-paced environment 

  • The ability to prioritize, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders 

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator 

  • Familiarity with growth hacking a plus 

  • Interest in digital health and/or working in a tech startup
