Head of Marketing(SG) - Online Travel Startup

 Our client is getting ready to launch a new brand for online travel in Asia!  This private-equity backed startup is focussed on creating compelling content, unique travel tools and specially curated network of properties and activities.  Perfect opportunity for a data-driven Marketing leader who has always dreamt of building a brand from scratch.  Based in Singapore. 


  • Build and lead a team that is both creative and data driven, and demonstrate an ability to optimise these traits in the team.

  • Take lead responsibility for all the company’s external communications and marketing strategy and execution.

  • Growth hack customer acquisition and monetisation.

  • Define the company’s brand in the market.

  • Ensure all marketing budgets to acquire users and conversions are optimized.

  • Develop a capacity to market the company internationally, developing innovative techniques to win new and returning customers with a high ROI.

  • Work collaboratively across teams to achieve the company objectives.

  • Set up processes and systems that support the sustainable growth of the company.

  • Develop an effective conduit of customer feedback into product development.

  • Ensure marketing material is compliant (eg. music licensing, image use etc.)



  • Strong character, who fosters a culture of trust and candour, and an ability to manage a team effectively.

  • Must demonstrate an advanced understanding of marketing principles and techniques

  • Can demonstrate an ability to succeed in online B2C marketing.

  • Demonstrable track record in driving revenue.

  • Able to evidence an effective international marketing approach, with particular focus on ASEAN markets.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambitious startup

  • Effective communication in English

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex matters;

  • The role will require significant exposure across ASEAN, therefore language skills may be advantageous.

  • Excellent organisation and time management skills

  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
