Head of Tech Sales & BD
Our client is a funded joint-venture co-owned by a Singaporean and Chinese entity. Their objective to provide businesses an accessible way to find companies and talented individuals with the right skills to take on projects.
As Head of Tech Sales & BD, you will be a key member taking on a completely new endeavor. This role requires the right candidate to have the tenacity to be part of a business arm built from scratch.
- Take on dual-leadership role of a technical sales and business development
- Build up house-branded IT services arm from scratch
- Set up processes for project management, quality control, disputes, and for contracts between us, clients and third-party vendors
- Find and nurture affordable and good quality vendors to handle fulfilment of projects
- Extensive experience in sales and BD, set up sales cycle processes and acts as the “number one salesman” for the company
- Provide input into company branding, marketing, positioning, and price points
- Develop decks to pitch for and negotiate new business and sales
- Scope the market for potential business leads
- Structure company appropriately to meet requirements to pitch for government projects on GeBiz
- Recruit and hire talented team of tech sales and development professionals to pitch for business.
- Mentor existing staff on both current and future best practices of the tech industry
- Recruit a team of tech sales and development professionals to build up the business as it scales
- 5-10 years of experience in IT outsourcing companies, especially in senior sales and BD roles
- Based in Singapore
- Fluency in written and spoken mandarin is required for this position
- Expertise with working productively with freelancers and third-party vendors on execution both locally and remotely
