SEM/SEO Manager (SG),    Travel start-up

The company is a funded travel start-up that aims to make planning a holiday hassle-free by providing curated destination and accommodation picks to suit each traveler’s needs.


Potential candidates:

If you are digitally savvy and understand what drives the right traffic to a company’s webpage, we want you.

You will be the in-house guru that manages keywords to ensure good visibility and recall of the company’s brand name. You will also initiate and drive the SEM + SEO strategy of the company, while working closely with the Marketing lead, CRM and Social Media managers.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute the SEO & SEM strategy for the company

  • Growing organic traffic and new customers in the competitive travel space

  • Takes ownership for the channel performance, and ideate strategies based on performance

  • Suggest improvements for site structure, internal linking, page code, content and uncover new opportunities for growth

  • Initiate and manage a variety of complex SEO/SEM projects

  • Manage, improve and automate recurring SEO/SEM processes

  • Work closely with Marketing and Product teams to find areas of synergy and to implement SEO/SEM solutions, while evaluating additional tools to scale more efficiently

  • Continuously test, challenge and improve the status quo to attract potential customers


  • Passion in Search Marketing, SEO and SEM!

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in SEO with a proven track record

  • Good analytical skills. Knowledge of key SEO Metrics, KPIs and modern Analytical Tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)

  • Good project management abilities

  • Strong desire to grow in SEO/SEM automation & Scalability

  • A self-starter who takes initiative to drive growth and who is responsible for quality work

  • Willing to work very hard and put in the necessary hours

  • A confident and clear communicator with good interpersonal skills
