Head of Banking Partnership (MY) - FinTech
Challenge the norm and lead the Partnership team (Banking) of a hyper-growth Fin-tech startup which is expanding rapidly in Malaysia.
You will build relationships with banks and non-financial partners across the Malaysian market by developing value-added solutions and services that hardly exist today. Drive the company’s growth by increasing the number of clients and value of those clients over time while ensuring the successful delivery of solutions for clients. As a leader, you will also be responsible for recruiting and mentoring a team that can execute market-leading business development and client relationship management activities.
What you’ll do:
Take the lead in speeding up web and digital product integration with all bank partners
Work with bank partners to expand banking product lines, and to understand the specific needs of each bank and jointly develop strategies to achieve those objectives together
Implement best-in-class product and eligibility recommendation tools matching bank to customers on all channels.
Conduct periodic performance review with the banks, discuss specific initiatives, jointly review results of campaigns and customize solutions to achieve agreed targets
Drive a core team of banking product owners to execute P&L and product growth strategies across other inter-departmental teams
Demonstrate commitment, dependability and respect for all team members; serve as a guiding light in leading towards relationship-based success with team members and clients
Define and execute new customer sourcing strategies by acquiring desired customer segments through most effective channels with most efficient cost
Utilize customer life-time value, develop and execute strategies to acquire customers with the most efficient cost
Define and execute additional product penetration strategy to existing customers by providing best value product and simple customer journey
Define, refine, implement specific individual channel value proposition for different channels
Define & implement individual channel through Test & Learn strategies to reach targeted segment to improve leads quality
Develop, execute, and manage channel strategies and tactical campaigns, taking into account the market opportunity/growth potential, and competitor activities
Optimize all cost including structural cost i.e effective organization structure, incentive cost to optimize productivity
Lead, manage day to day operation, and coach a team of highly-motivated managers accountable for exceeding customer and employee satisfaction, relationship building, production and growth goals and operational performance targets
BA or BS degree in business or finance preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in retail banking, specifically last 5 year experience in managing secured and unsecured lending business with proven double-digit year on year growth of customer base, revenue and net operating profit
Excellent organizational skills
Experience managing a business with total of 100+ workforce, ability to influence with/without authority multiple key stakeholders to achieve business goals
