Head of Banking Partnership (MY) - FinTech

Challenge the norm and lead the Partnership team (Banking) of a hyper-growth Fin-tech startup which is expanding rapidly in Malaysia.

You will build relationships with banks and non-financial partners across the Malaysian market by developing value-added solutions and services that hardly exist today. Drive the company’s growth by increasing the number of clients and value of those clients over time while ensuring the successful delivery of solutions for clients. As a leader, you will also be responsible for recruiting and mentoring a team that can execute market-leading business development and client relationship management activities.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop a vision and secure buy-in from across the business for the company’s banking relationships and market coverage

  • Secure bank partnerships & manage those relationships

  • Identify and champion the development of new value-add services for our customers

  • Develop annual and quarterly plans, budgets and objectives

  • Identifying additional monetization opportunities for the company (e.g. in marketing partnerships, creative collaboration efforts)

  • Responsible for revenue targets for banking products

  • Hiring, coaching and managing account servicing team

  • Assist with the development of banking-relevant online products

Must-Haves:

  • Rolodex of senior commercial leaders in the industry

  • Digital Savvy (Experience in digital business) preferable in digital media

  • Knowledge of bank commercial sales cycle preferred

  • Business Development and Account Management - you are both a hunter and a farmer!
