Marketing & Digital Communications Executive (SG) - University Innovation Programme

Our client is a premier university in Singapore that works closely with key industries on innovation programmes.  These programmes involve identifying innovation opportunities within organizations, bridging organizations with appropriate start-ups and creating platforms that fuels innovation and growth within identified industries.

As part of the growth of the programme, they are looking for a Marketing and Digital Communications Executive to spearhead and manage publicity, marketing and communications for the programme.

Reporting to the Programme Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and growing the reach of the programme in Singapore and beyond, through thoughtful and effective marketing and digital communications strategies

  • Overseeing execution and implementation of the above strategies

  • Producing and managing content assets which may include articles, images, videos

  • Developing and managing content strategy to drive traffic; including search engine optimization approaches

  • Managing offline and online channels which include website, newsletters, social media

  • Working with other colleagues to produce and execute integrated online and offline campaigns

  • Support the programme in all aspects of branding


  • Degree holder with at least 4 years of relevant experience

  • Proven marketing and digital communication skills

  • Excellent grasp of English, able to communicate well for informal and formal occasions

  • Excellent writing skills

  • Ability to distil message and narratives, for pitching to targeted audiences

  • Ability to grasp business requirements and apply marketing and communications approaches effectively to meet business objectives

  • Proven track record in growing reach through various offline and online marketing channels such as websites, email marketing and social media such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook

  • Experience with running marketing and digital marketing campaigns

  • Proven self-starter, able to work in a fast paced environment

  • Proven excellent interpersonal skills with outgoing personality and high interest in learning and personal development

  • Proven team player

  • Demonstrated consistent attention to detail, critical-thinker and problem-solver

Candidates with these qualities will be preferred:

  • Prior experience with start-ups or fast-paced industry e.g. with a Tech startup, incubator, accelerator, FMCG, PR, advertising or creative agencies

  • Passionate about marketing and entrepreneurship

  • Conversant with digital marketing tools and design software
