Product Lead (MY) - eCommerce

Our client operates a leading shopping site in Southeast Asia. They are looking for an individual to structure their product development through the generation of new ideas and concepts.

For the role, you own the vision and the road map of the partnerships value stream. You will tap into the collective genius of other Product Managers, Business Intelligence experts, SEO gurus, UX experts and operations teams to create and assess new killer ideas and work with the Scrum teams to continuously optimize the flow of value delivery.


  • Take ownership of the vision and the road map of the partnerships value stream

  • Drive pre-sales discussions with partners, close the deals and be responsible for smooth implementation.

  • Drive the roadmap for the partnerships value stream (OKRs) and follow through on its implementation.

  • Define the trimester goals that helps the organisation meet the OKR and break it down into Sprint Goals as the direction for every Sprint for the delivery team.

  • Use data to create new insights into our value generation and to support your decisions

  • Collaborate on evolving the product strategy together with the senior management, the product and technology groups

  • Track key product metrics and use data during Sprint Review meetings to surface future improvements to the product and the partnerships overall

  • Create “space” for collective creativity so that product ideas are discussed and debated and the best ideas win

  • Be responsible for continuous growth of performance on the partnerships platforms.

  • Optimize the flow of value delivery by resolving prioritization and capacity conflicts while at the same time managing external stakeholders expectations


  • Value driven mindset over project mindset

  • Deep knowledge and experience in e-commerce business. Knowledge about South East Asia e-commerce ecosystem is a big plus

  • Curious and data-driven with a relentless attention to details.

  • Able to translate data into business insights for senior management.

  • Ruthless prioritizer and strong executor

  • Compassionate, respectful and with high empathy towards people.

  • Senior experience in closing and managing partnerships with top notch players.

  • High-confidence with every decision made to the value stream but at the same time also open for feedback from other experts in the company.

  • Deep passion for users in the region and to deliver the best shopping experience possible.

  • Excellent English communication skills for communicating the complete product vision and roadmap in front of Senior Management and investors.

  • A continuous learner with a steep growth curve.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and comfortable in a start-up environment, you are expected to take ownership of our product and be the Mini-CEO for all our partnerships.

  • Knowledge in measuring the success of the product using value-driven metrics
