VP of Marketing (SG) - HR Tech Startup [21E31]

They are looking for a Vice President of Marketing whose mission is to lead regional growth & marketing to scale active users exponentially by 10 times to millions of monthly active users in the next 2 years, as well as to build strong growth culture and systems for sustained long term growth.
You will be part of the core leadership team of a growth stage (Series C to D) regional tech startup in Southeast Asia, poised to become the leader of the jobs and talent market in SEA, shaping the future of work in the region. You will be working with a team of mission-driven, experienced and top talent, backed by some of the best investors and advisors in the region.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership: Be part of the core leadership to shape the overall strategy of the company.
Lead Regional Marketing: Lead Regional Growth & Marketing (Existing markets: Indonesia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia. New markets: Thailand, Philippines) to scale active user growth exponentially (>3 times yearly in the next 3 years) from hundreds of thousands to 10 million, Key functions include
○ User acquisition & activation
○ Retention & engagement
○ Growth Analytics
○ Marketing communications & brandingTop-grade Marketing Team development: Structure and build the regional marketing teams structures and fill key roles with top growth and marketing talent across the region
Marketing Strategy:
○ Develop and articulate marketplace growth and marketing strategy and identify specific budgets for each market to achieve business objectives (MAU & Revenue). Strike the right mix of the top, middle, and bottom-funnel marketing to ensure great storytelling and increased awareness as well as direct user activations.Marketplace Growth & Product Innovation:
○ Lead a cross-functional team to launch and drive marketplace growth across the region
○ Collaborate with the product, engineering and data team to create new products and features that can strengthen the network effects, acquisition and engagement loops of the marketplaceCulture, Systems & Process Design: Define and build a strong culture of growth marketing and sales systems and expansion playbook to systemise regional expansion and sales processes efficiently
Cross-functional collaboration, for example:
○ Collaborate effectively with the Director of Product with product organization for great go-to-market strategy & execution
○ Collaborate effectively with Director of Commercial & Head of Product Marketing to project top-of-funnel needs and to develop marketing plans to effectively acquire the requisite number of candidates (supply) and to achieve revenue targets
○ Collaborate effectively with the Director of HR to project expansion manpower needs and to scale sales and client success teams necessary to achieve growth targets○ Collaborate effectively with the Director of Finance to project budget needs and build profitable foundations for the business

Must-Have
Proven managerial and executive skills sets (Led teams before successfully)
Led expansion before in developing markets (Indonesia / Vietnam / Thailand / Philippines)
Experience leading regional growth or marketing
Experience scaling a consumer-facing product to millions of monthly active users
Experience leading and working in a tech startup
Demonstrated track record of excellence in career
Passionate about viral growth and marketing
Nice to Have
Related regional growth or marketing role in Growth / Late-stage companies in SEA
Regional expansion experience (Led expansion for more than 1 country before)
Experience in Indonesia and Vietnam markets
