Account & Partnership Manager (SG) - Pet Nutrition [25M08]

Our client is a tech-enabled, pet nutrition company delivering customised fresh meals for dogs and cats based on individual profiles, allergies, goals, and lifestyle. From their licensed production facility in Singapore, they handle everything from formulation to fulfilment to ensure safety, quality, and pet health.
As a trusted D2C brand with a loyal customer base and proven product-market fit, they are now scaling offline, and this role will be at the heart of their omnichannel expansion strategy.
The Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Account and Partnership Manager will be the driving force behind getting the brand’s product lines onto shelves and into the hands (and paws) of more customers across the region.

Key Responsibilities
Retail Expansion & Account Management
Identify and secure retail placements across pet stores, premium grocers, vet clinics, lifestyle outlets, and supermarkets.
Drive end-to-end onboarding: pitching, negotiating, coordinating distribution, and executing in-store activation.
Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners to maximize sell-through.
Collaborate with internal ops and logistics teams to ensure smooth cold-chain deliveries.
Track sales performance and merchandising ROI; proactively troubleshoot and optimize.
Strategic Partnerships & Collaborations
Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships (e.g., with vets, pet service providers, lifestyle brands, wellness communities).
Co-create campaigns or bundles that drive awareness and mutual value.
Work closely with the Marketing team to integrate partnerships into brand campaigns and acquisition funnels.
Customer Service & Retention
Lead and manage the customer service function with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Develop and implement SOPs to ensure fast, empathetic, and effective resolution of customer queries.
Use feedback loops and data to improve customer experience and increase lifetime value.
Train and mentor customer service representatives to uphold the company’s customer-first values.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Marketing to align messaging and create retail-ready assets.
Coordinate with Product & Nutrition teams for training programs for retail/partner staff.
Forecast demand and ensure stock availability in sync with Operations.
Regularly report KPIs, feedback, and insights to the leadership team to shape strategy.
Events & Offline Activations
Plan and execute sampling campaigns, retail activations, and brand events (e.g., pet fairs, pop-ups, educational sessions).
Support community-building and lead generation through targeted offline efforts.
Key Requirements
4–7 years of experience in account management, business development or partnerships, preferably in FMCG, pet care, consumer wellness, or food & beverage industries.
Demonstrated ability to secure listings and grow accounts in physical retail environments; strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
Familiarity with Singapore’s retail and pet ecosystem; relationships in the space are a bonus.
Excellent project management skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and leadership teams.
Self-starter who can identify opportunities, create structured pitches, and own execution from start to finish.
Great communication and presentation skills; comfortable representing the brand externally.
Passion for animals and an interest in nutrition or wellness is a huge plus.
This role is open only to candidates who are currently eligible to work in Singapore.
