Key Responsibilities:

As a Management Associate, you'll be a versatile force multiplier, contributing across several critical areas:

Strategic Initiatives & CEO Office Support:

  • Drive Strategic Growth: Work closely with the CEO on high-level strategic projects aimed at firm growth, operational excellence, and global market expansion, particularly into European and US markets.

  • Full-Cycle Deal Flow: Support the CEO across the entire deal spectrum, from identifying new investment opportunities and conducting in-depth due diligence to managing deal execution and post-investment support.

  • Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research, analyze industry trends, and identify potential business development opportunities.

  • Investor Relations & Fundraising: Assist the CEO in critical investor relations activities, including preparing investor updates, presentations, and responding to inquiries. Support fundraising efforts by preparing materials for potential investors and assisting in investor meetings.

  • Operational Excellence: Facilitate operational processes related to reporting, tax, audit, fund administration, and compliance. Ensure seamless execution of financing, settlement, and investment onboarding.

  • AI Innovation: Contribute to the exploration and implementation of AI-driven solutions to enhance wealth management, private equity investment processes, and business development advisory services.

Client Advisory & Business Development:

  • Client Engagement: Support the client advisory team in serving high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutions on cross-border wealth management strategies, investment strategies, and business development opportunities.

  • Proposal Development: Assist in developing tailored investment proposals and client presentations.

  • Relationship Support: Help maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and proactive communication.

  • Market Expansion: Contribute to strategies for expanding their client base and service offerings globally, especially in Europe and the US.

Portfolio Support & Communications:

  • Portfolio Engagement: Engage with founders and CFOs of our portfolio companies to gather and analyze financial information, balancing their needs with our firm's reporting requirements.

  • Financial Analysis: Assist in preparing fair valuation templates and reviewing financial data to inform investment decisions.

  • Content Creation: Draft and prepare internal and external communications, including pitch decks, reports, newsletters, and investment follow-up materials.

Key Requisites:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Master's) or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA) is highly preferred.

  • Minimum of two years of experience in wealth management, investment banking, management consulting, or a related field, with direct client interaction.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with high-level clients and stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Deep interest and curiosity in technology entrepreneurship

  • Familiarity with AI applications in finance or a strong interest in learning and applying these technologies.

  • Experience in investor relations and fundraising support is a significant advantage.

  • Proficiency in Japanese, Korean, or a Southeast Asian language would be a bonus.

  • Strong ethical standards and a commitment to client confidentiality.
