Job Position: Commercial & Contracts Legal Manager (ID)

Our client is a mining conglomerate with over 15000 employees and they are looking for an experienced Commercial & Contracts Legal Manager to support the company, particularly in commercial contracts, mining operations and risk management.

This role will handle:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts

• Supporting mining services, procurement, subcontractor, and operational agreements

• Identifying and managing legal and commercial risks

• Supporting contract interpretation, claims, and dispute handling

• Working closely with operations, procurement, commercial, and management teams

• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies

We are looking for someone with:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law

• Around 8–10 years of experience in commercial/contract law

• Experience working in the mining industry

• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills

• Good understanding of mining operations and commercial arrangements

• Practical, business-oriented, and solution-driven approach

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Able to work independently in fast-paced environment

Preferred:

• Experience handling mining services, EPC, procurement, or operational contracts

• Familiar with Indonesian mining regulations and commercial practices

• In-house legal experience in mining/heavy industry is preferred
