Country Manager (Vietnam) - Fintech [24E04]

They are seeking an experienced Country Manager/Head with a strong focus on developing and executing the overall business strategy and effectively leading a diverse team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conceptualise and draft country strategy in line with the company strategy.
Develop the operating plan across business lines and own the country P&L.
Drive business development to bring and onboard new partners.
Execute the operating plan in line with the country's regulations.
Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and policies.
Identify and execute M&A opportunities that solve the growth and/or compliance needs of the company.
Represent the company in public and professional settings, such as conferences, meetings, and events.
Evaluate employee performance, provide feedback and coaching, and identify opportunities for professional development.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or equivalent, but an MBA would be preferable.
Minimum 10 years of experience in the financial services or insurance industry with at least 7 years of managerial experience in a similar capacity.
Have a proven track record of driving business growth and success in a competitive environment.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute business plans that align with the company's goals and objectives
Strong financial management and analytical skills, with the ability to create and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
Passion for innovation and disruption within the fintech/insurance industry, with a deep understanding of emerging technologies and trends.
