Finance Director (ID) - Internet Marketplace

Our client a large b2b internet marketplace is looking for a Finance Director. Reporting to the CEO, we are looking for a strategic, hands-on leader overseeing financial planning, reporting, and cash management to ensure fiscal stability and growth. As a key advisor to the CEO, the Finance Director will be responsible for managing budgets, managing investor relations/fundraising and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning & Fundraising: Developing long-term financial plans, managing fundraising (venture capital/equity), and building trust with investors.

• Cash Flow & Financial Management: Monitoring burn rate, managing cash flow, and implementing financial controls to ensure sustainability.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Creating and updating detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.

• Operational Accounting: Overseeing payroll, bookkeeping, and tax compliance.

• Data-Driven Decision Support: Analyzing financial performance to advise on cost reduction and growth strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience as a Director of Finance or Head of Finance in a fast-paced or high-growth startup environment.

• Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of financial modeling, accounting software

• Strategic Mindset: Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for the executive team.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; CPA/ACCA or MBA is preferred.
