Drawing upon their expertise in food technology, sustainability, and culinary arts, their innovative plant-based protein product is ideal for food services companies seeking to expand their plant-based offerings.

To help them expand in Asia-Pacific, they are on the lookout for a dynamic Industrial Sales Lead/Manager, a position that holds exciting potential to revolutionize the culinary world. In the initial phase, this role can potentially be combined with the Food Service Sales Lead/Manager position for suitably qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • The focus will be on engaging with food manufacturers using animal protein (eg makers of lasagna, gyoza, noodles, ready-to-eat meals) and offering them the opportunity to diversify their portfolio with non-animal-based products. Potential customers in SG and across Asia and the Middle East.

  • Leveraging your experience and extensive network, you will spearhead partnerships aimed at promoting their product as a transformative ingredient. The goal is to empower manufacturers to offer healthier and more sustainable versions of their core products, thereby extending their product range.

  • Performance Goals: Secure three substantial partnerships within the first year, driving the adoption of their dry ingredient and establishing it as a go-to ingredient in the industry.

Key Requirements

  • A solid understanding of existing food manufacturing processes and technologies so as to comprehend how their dry ingredients can be integrated as seamlessly as possible.

  • An extensive book of contacts within the food industry in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

  • Deep passion for the food industry especially plant-based nutrition and sustainability. 

  • Resourceful and hands-on attitude.

  • A proven track record in selling ingredients and semi-finished products to the food industry and OEMs. 

  • Willing to travel.

  • Excellent communication skills and strong presentation. Being a good team player is a must.

  • Able to work independently, results-oriented with strong business acumen.

  • Able to speak fluent Mandarin is a must. Other Southeast Asian languages is a strong plus.
