Associate Director: Finance & Fund Admin (SG) - Venture Capital
Our client is an established Fund Manager incorporated in Singapore with offices in region investing in high tech & high growth companies. Currently, it has more than US$550 million under management.
The fund is headquartered in Singapore and regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore and holds a CMS licence. They are looking for a strong finance candidate to head up the finance and fund admin team.
Job Scope:
Reporting directly to the CFO and will assist the CFO in all aspects of regulatory compliance, finance and fund administration
• Supervise/Review/Monitor the accounting, finance and administrative matters of the Singapore and overseas entities
• Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to corporate office, including consolidation
• Budgeting , banking, internal and external audit, taxation, company secretarial matters
• Compliance with corporate governance, tax and regulatory (MAS) requirements
• Knowledge of FATCA/CRS filings and registration and KYC requirement is advantageous
• Corporate affairs and administrative matters
• The job scope may be expanded depending on the caliber of the candidate
The Right Candidate:
• Degree in accountancy, ACCA or its equivalent.
• A CPA/ACCA qualified professional with 5-10 years of experience in a public accounting firm or MNC environment, preferably with work experience in a fund management or related industry
• Experience with MAS compliance in a fund management industry
• Exposure in Asia Pacific in accounting and tax
• Previous managerial experience.
• Ability to multi-task, reliable and dependable, with high sense of responsibility in meeting deadlines reporting.
• A fast learner with the ability to work effectively, both independently and in a team environment.
• Experience with the Microsoft Business Central accounting system a plus
• Occasional traveling may be required.
• Able to start work in early December 2025, Singaporeans or PR preferred
