Our client is an established Venture Capital firm with a distinguished 10-year track record of high-performance investing. The firm aims to deploy a new $100M fund mandated to back high-growth startups at the Series B and C stages.

The Role

This role is a strategic entry point for a high-caliber Investment professional aspiring to become a General Partner in the future. It offers the chance to learn the foundations of fund leadership through comprehensive, 360-degree exposure to the fund management lifecycle - from deal origination and rigorous execution to capital raising and strategic investor relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Investment Execution: Source, screen, and underwrite high-potential opportunities. Lead end-to-end due diligence with disciplined, PE-style rigor and financial precision.

• Capital Formation & LP Relations: Partner with the Managing Partner to institutionalize the fundraising process, managing a robust pipeline of LPs with a focus on Family Offices and sovereign-linked entities.

• Portfolio Value Creation: Deliver strategic advisory and actionable data insights to portfolio companies, supporting their scaling efforts and path to liquidity.

Key Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 5 years within Investment Banking, Asset Management, or PE/VC. 

• Technical Proficiency: Mastery of financial modeling, valuation frameworks, and complex due diligence execution.

• Linguistic Capability: Professional fluency in Mandarin is essential for managing regional stakeholders.

• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to navigate high-level negotiations and investor inquiries. An existing network of LPs/Family Offices is highly advantageous.
