Tech Lead/VP Eng (SG) - Renewable Energy [24E01]

Our client is a growth stage startup in renewable energy based in Singapore. They are looking for a Technical Leader to manage their product roadmap and team as they expand

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and oversee end-to-end product roadmap

  • Collaborate closely with our UI/UX design and business teams to translate user needs and business requirements

  • Serve as primary architect of the tech stack with the use of Next.js for frontend development and AWS cloud services for backend orchestration

  • Manage and lead a remote team of 2-4 software engineers

  • Manage and oversee AWS cloud infrastructure and maintenance of databases to optimise resource utilisation and build for scalability


REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a technical lead. 5-7 years total and last 2 years in a lead role

  • Strong background in frontend technologies, particularly Next.js and React

  • Expertise in AWS cloud platform, serverless architecture, GraphQL and databases using DynamoDb or ElasticSearch

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Demonstrated success in managing remote engineering teams a bonus
